My client is a long established national multi-disciplinary consultancy providing advice and practical solutions to public and private sector clients. Due to their success and increased workload they are looking to appoint an Arboriculturalist to join their team.
The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated and should be experienced in planning and development work at a professional level, they should have substantial experience of BS5837 and knowledge of Vegetation Subsidence, Tree Preservation Orders and UK planning legislation. A strong knowledge of Visual Tree Assessment is essential and experience with planning appeals.
In addition, you should also have a working knowledge, understanding and interpretation of data from Tree Radar as well as excellent tree, pest and disease identification skills.
Candidates will need to have excellent time management skills and be commercially aware, be IT literate and have good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in GIS/GPS systems and digital field data capture would also be an advantage although full training will be provided.
