Facilities Manager - Kidderminster

A Facilities Manager is required for a leading defence organisation based in the Worcestershire area who manufacture niche, high value products for the Ministry of Defence.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of the site infrastructure and the management of members of the site facilities department and works contractors.

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing a computer-based Planned Preventative Maintenance System for the site
  • Inputting into investment and improvement projects
  • Supporting the Health, Safety and Environment team with respect to company legislative requirements and arrangements
  • Co-ordination of all departmental works
  • Managing all site utilities
  • Supporting the company EN9100 registration

In addition, the following general attributes are required for the Facilities Manager:

  • A formal qualification in an engineering discipline (eg HNC, HND or degree)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of infrastructure and engineering management
  • Experience of maintenance systems and utilities management
