I am actively recruiting for an Administrator/Secretary to join a construction business based in Birmingham

Client Details

My client is a trade and services business based in Birmingham.


Your role as a Secretary/Administrator will involve:

  • Being the first point of contact for the business
  • Dealing with all telephone calls in a quickly and efficiently manner
  • Use and maintain management of in house system
  • Produce a range of high quality documents/presentations on behalf of the directors
  • Assisting with reception duties when required
  • Meeting and greeting visitors of the office
  • Putting together a spreadsheet which includes confidential company data


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have worked within a trade and services/construction business previously
  • Have a strong administrative background in a professional environment
  • Have strong audio typing skills
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful relationships
  • Have a firm knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages mainly excel and word
  • Possess a high level of organisational skills
  • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possess an excellent telephone manner
  • Be of smart appearance and be confident in meeting and greeting visitors
  • Be able to meet deadlines
