This is a market leading opticians who are in the process of recruiting an optometrist to compliment their already strong team to work in their practice with the latest equipment in place and a friendly team spirit environment.

Optometrist Position
This is a full time opportunity with a market leading opticians in a prime location in the Worcester area.
This practice is situated on a busy high street and has good footfall with a strong customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a long serving and very family friendly feel with a happy and patient focused team who work together to deliver the highest levels of customer care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will be expected to make recommendations to patients who will then be passed on to the support team. If you are happy to supervise a pre-reg this would be good but not essential.

Requirements of the Optometrist
At least 1 years experience in a busy practice is beneficial but not essential with commercial awareness a large part of the ongoing success of the business. You will be clinically sound and commercially up to date with all the latest products on offer.

Compensation for the Optometrist
For your commitment my client is offering a competitive salary of up to GBP45,000 basic and a strong bonus scheme with the potential of GBP3,000+ and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing personal development but more importantly the chance to go on to ownership of your own practice in the future.
