We are looking to recruit two experienced Production/Despatch Operatives to work in a well-established manufacturer of resin products based in CV35 postcode of Warwickshire. The positions are temporary, but for the right candidates will be permanent (upon successful completion of probation).

The company has 30 years of manufacturing experience in the Polymer resin sector, supplying to industries worldwide and are looking for talented individuals to join their team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the purpose of the role is:

* To operate the production machinery to manufacture products
* Develop a good working knowledge of our materials and processes.
* To ensure goods are picked, packed and labelled correctly
* Take part in monthly stock audit and regular team briefings

Main duties:

To work to KPIs - all jobs are completed promptly and accurately within timescales given

Quality control - To ensure that operations are carried out as specified on the job cards & that all materials are accurately identified, checked, weighed, loaded, decanted & labelled.
Completion of all relevant paperwork (job cards)
To conduct testing on manufactured product to ensure it meets the required specification and to report any faults to the Quality Manager

Using FLT to move palletised materials & vessels to the correct locations & that all goods are in a fit condition for sale. Stock rotation

Housekeeping - keeping machinery & production areas clean, drums are taken out and tools put away at the end of the day.

To provide cover in either production or despatch departments as/when needed

To assist with training other new members of staff within the department as required.

Person specification:

Individuals should be numerate, literate and able to use a computer.
You should be able to communicate clearly with staff at all levels of the company and should be able to work without supervision (after training is complete).
To be self-motivated, punctual, have strong attention to detail and able to work as part of a team

Essential experience:

MUST have worked in a similar engineering environment for 2 years
Have previous experience of working in stores/despatch
Having a valid FLT Licence would be advantageous
Due to location of site, you must have your own transport

Hours are: 8.30am to 5pm Mon to Fri (overtime maybe available)
Pay rate is GBP8ph
