My client, a successful telecoms company based in Willenhall are seeking a permit and noticing coordinator to join their team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Check grid refs are correct using SWNS.
• Update blockage trackers.
• Apply for notices or permits (may involve liaising with the Highways Authority).
• Complete applications for traffic management to the Highways Authorities(may involve liaising with Highways Authority).
• Arrange notices or permits for cable teams with TM when required.
• When safe dig prints received back from CT check are correct and how long valid. Safe dig prints must be valid.
• On planned Civils works send out safe dig prints to gangs before works commence and advise on TM and any restrictions, also give all permit info(number and conditions).
• Deal with highways defects, speaking to Highways inspectors and planning any remedial works. Notice or permit in place for works to be done, then close off on Solo.
• Sending out BDUK defect info.
• Work start and work stop notices and permits on a daily basis, checking AONR and AOPR.
• Deal with works comments received from Highways authority and action and respond to them.
• Register permits or notices for Civils activities as this is a legal requirement and fines imposed if not done or incorrect.
• Amend completed A55's for invoicing and apply for any additional synthetics.
• Updating Activity Tracker and spreadsheets.
• Deal with queries from highways Authorities.
• Liaise with Civils Project Manager.
• Liaise with flex project manager (if TM required for cable gangs)
