An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Twilight Driver to join the Worcestershire out of hours (OOH) service on a part time basis.

This is a Bank contract to work as an when required including nights, weekends, and Bank holidays.

Hourly rate for this role is:
Week day:GBP8.21
Week Night:GBP11.47
Weekend Day:GBP8.80
Weekend Night: GBP12.31

The role will be working out of WR3 8TJ, covering Redditch, Worcester, Kidderminster, Malvern and Evesham.

Care UK currently delivers an Out of Hours (OOH) Service across Worcestershire. The OOH service is an appointment based service that is accessed via the national NHS 111 service. Patients are assessed via the 111 team and if it's clinically appropriate, they will get referred on to our OOH service.

The "Out of Hours" period is deemed as being after 18.30pm to 08.00am the following morning on weekdays, and all day Saturday's, Sunday's and bank holidays.

Within this job you will be responsible for:
• Chauffeuring visiting clinicians to and from the PCCs to patients in their own homes within Worcestershire.
• Assisting in our PCCs as a receptionist
• Carruing out all driving duties in a safe and legal manner, complying with current driving regulations and the Highway Code.
• Ensuring that the car is checked, prepared and serviceable before the start of your shift.
• Completing logbooks and personal time sheets
• Performing courtesy calls to patients to confirm arrival.

The Job Requirements:

In order for you to be considered for the job, as a minimum we are looking for you to:
• Have a good general standard of education.
• Have previous experience of working as a driver.
• Have good IT skills, including keyboard/typing skills
• Have a good telephone manner
• Have excellent road map reading skills
• Have a full UK driving license with no more than 3 points.
