About the role

In this role you will share the responsibility of managing a team of 30 technicians. Between them, this team is responsible for authorising the repair work to our vehicles and for keeping our customers informed about the work that is being done as well as managing that downtime and arranging replacement vehicles etc. In this role, you will ensure the team is delivering the high standard of customer focus we expect for our clients. Predominantly though, this is a management role where you will lead from the front and provide direction, leadership, training and motivation to your team through monthly one to one's etc. You will set and track individual and team objectives and ensure your team is developed and that output from them is maximised.

About you

We are looking for an energetic and confident individual with proven people management experience. You must have experience in managing and leading a team from recruiting, training, developing, setting targets and day to day management. The complete employee life-cycle. If you have the technical expertise (NVQ or City &Guilds in vehicle mechanical repair) then great but that isn't vital. In addition, we need someone who can exceed customer expectations, both internally and externally. You will have a helpful and adaptable approach and be able to manage a high volume workload on an on-going basis. All this whilst ensuring the customers remain our number one priority.
