The right candidate will be a conscientious Maths graduate who has achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second class degree and can commit themselves to the placement. You should be able to act as a subject expert for the pupils, using your exclusive knowledge from university to influence the classroom. You will arrive with firm plans to train as a teacher and an inspirational approach.

As a Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant you will be working in the department that most closely correlates with your skills, experiences, and formal qualifications. You will be making the most of the support of a mentor who is focused on helping you begin the journey towards becoming an Outstanding teacher.
