Kisimul Group is a specialist provider of supported living since 2004, who are continually developing the provision to fulfil the needs of adults that are looking for care and support, whilst holding their own tenancy.

Due to our on-going success and continuous plans for development we have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker at Richmond Court, Shrewsbury.

•Reporting to the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for supporting the tenants in their home and wider community
•Provide tenants with care and support (where appropriate to their individual needs) to enable them to live as independently as possible within their home and community

Key Responsibilities:
•Promote independence skills and support with personal care of all tenants
•Contribute to the development of the tenants by offering practical and emotional support
•Support tenants to participate in the planning and decision making of their home ( e.g. domestic and housekeeping services)
•Support tenants daily with the preparation of meals in accordance with good health and hygiene standards.

Experience and Skills
•Previous experience of providing care and support to adults
•Good communication skills
•Computer literate
•Experience of working with individuals with disabilities, autism and behaviors of concern (desirable)
•Full driving license (essential)

Essential Requirements:
•Aged 20 years +
•Hold full UK Driving license
•Subject to a full Enhanced Discloser and Barring Service Check (DBS)
•Required to complete Care Certificate and Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
