We have a great opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our Volkswagen (VW) dealership in Hatfield. You will receive a competitive basic salary with a realistic OTE of GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 per annum.

As our Sales Manager you will be responsible for maximising the sales and profitability of the dealership, so we are looking for someone to take ownership of this business area as part of the dealership management team reporting to the General Manager.

You will need to:

- Set and deliver dealership targets

- Develop and improve vehicle sales processes and policies

- Ensure you have the optimum stock levels

- Coach, develop and manage your team to be best in class

- Continually monitor the performance of your sales team

- Work with the GM to achieve franchise operational standards

- Ensure local marketing activity is optimised

To be successful in this Sales Manager role you will need:

- Proven track record in the automotive industry

- Knowledge and experience of modern dealership business methods

- Excellent communication skills

- Professional attitude at all times when dealing with customers

- Hands on leadership and management approach

- Excellent numerical and IT skills
