My client are a well recognised solutions provider with vendors such as HP, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, Veeam and other related technologies. This is one of many roles my client is looking to recruit as they continue to grow their Solutions Architecture practise within a newly formed division. As the Pre-Sales you will work strategically with a number of internal and external stakeholders to provide pre-sales support, provide accurate designs for storage environments, and technical support for junior members of staff. You will work closely with the Technical and Sales teams advising them on best solutions and processes. The role will include work around the following: -Presales Solutions Architecture work -POC (Proof Of Concept) work -Pre-sales duties -Designing and architecting environments -Working alongside partners and vendors to meet the required solution -Various project based work -Delivery of client facing presentations to business and technical audiences at all levels to articulate complex solution designs and value -Knowledge of industry trends and developments to gain customer's trust as a thought leader. -Easily recognises IT system deficiencies and proposes effective solutions. You will have a broad range of skills, primarily within the Server, Data Storage and DC based Technologies. You will have an awareness and have worked with the following technologies (at least 2): -Virtualisation software such as VMware,Hyper-V -Storage - Dell, HP, EMC, Nimble Storage, Tinitri, Nutanix, Dothill -DR Backup Recovery Solutions e.g. Veeam -Datacentre Technology solutions exposure -Network: Cisco, CheckPoint, Trustwave, Clearswift, Kaspersky, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet You will have the ability to understand what is required at all stages of the sales cycle, from understanding the customer's decision making process whilst managing vendor requirements for sales closure. You will have excellent customer facing skills and must be able to hold your own in sales environments.
