We are recruiting a HSE Manager position to work with a Global Manufacturing company based in the West Midlands. After a sustained period of growth internationally and a number of exciting projects due to launch, the successful candidate will be driving projects between the client and the customer on site. The role will manage HSE regulations for on site commissioning and installation, working with some of the most renowned FTSE 250 businesses.

Given the size and scope of the business added to significant opportunities throughout, this opportunity provides real career progression within the business as a HSE Manager. The role will also include full autonomy and the ability to shape and define the company's direction.


  • Carry out Risk Assessments within company procedures and ensure robust control measures are implemented and monitored throughout
  • Provide assistance to Group for HSE delivery and emergency response and during absence
  • Maintain Risk Assessments including ergonomic, machine guarding, COSHH in line with HSE Management system
  • Monitor and collect data and metric reporting analysing trends
  • Project management to ensure continuous improvement on site
  • Carry out EH&S inspections and audits for site, capturing data that can be used to improve performance
  • Participate in Emergency Response and Business Continuity arrangements including emergency response


  • IOSH accredited or be willing to undertake accreditation (at the company's expense)
  • Good understanding of CDM regulations
  • HSE experience in a Construction, Manufacturing and Utilities essential
  • Proven record of implementing assessments, prevention and control techniques in manufacturing environments ideally and experienced Auditor
  • Comprehensive knowledge of COSHH and chemical management
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to organise and hold effective meetings

Job Offer

£45,000 - £50,000 + benefits (pension, private, healthcare)
