Would you like to become a part of an established Geotechnical team in Birmingham, working on rail, structures and commercial projects? Within this role you will lead an established team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget, whilst also playing an active role in growing the existing client base. To be successful in this role, you will have detailed understanding of the following Geotechnical processes: - Earthworks Design - Reinforced soil slopes and walls - Earthworks Remediation - Soil nailed slopes - Piled foundations - Shallow foundations - Gravity retaining walls - Environmental Engineering In return, you will receive an excellent package inclusive of an annual salary which will be dependent on experience, Private medical and travel insurance, 6% pension, Life assurance, income protection insurance, and the right to buy or sell up to 5 days of annual leave each year. Location wise, you will have free parking and will be based on the outskirts of Birmingham City Centre. This is a permanent role. DUTIES: - - Geotechnical report writing in both Ground Investigation and Geotechnical Design Reports - - Design delivery of existing and future projects - - Develop the relationship between the company and new and existing clients in order to identify potential work - - Manage site examination and investigation work - - Prepare calculations, drawings and other documents and ensure that these are controlled during the execution of projects Suitable applicants: - - MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering, with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering - - Have at least 8 years' experience post-graduation in Geotechnical Engineering - - Have full use of computer software for the analysis of geotechnical problems - - Be able to produce detailed design documentation - - Supervision of a Geotechnical team
