Our Client, a growing Property and Lettings company whose business is split between providing serviced apartments and long-term lettings management is looking for an experienced lettings manager to join their friendly and supportive teams. They are providing an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who is looking to develop and be at the forefront of the business.


Working closely with the Director the job will involve:

  • Day to day running of the office responding to queries via telephone, email and web chat.
  • Giving quotes, making bookings and sending out booking confirmation/ arrival details.
  • Updating and maintaining availability on our bespoke system and our website.
  • Updating and improving our website and social media presence.
  • Corresponding with Utility Companies and ISP's.
  • Creating and producing letters and forms for office use.
  • Management of property keys, ensuring that all can be accounted for at any time.
  • Meeting and greeting short term guests or organising self-check in and out of accommodation.
  • Advertising vacant properties and using secondary in-house systems to upload property details and availabilities.
  • Carrying out viewings, undertaking vetting checks for would be tenants/guarantors and producing Assured Tenancy agreements.
  • Preparing detailed inventories and carrying out accurate exit inspections.
  • Organising a cleaning rota over a large number of properties.
  • Sourcing and organising contractors to deal effectively with any maintenance concerns.
  • Dealing with any issues from tenants and landlords.
  • Chasing rent and where necessary producing possession notices.
  • Collecting rent and making visits to tenants to assist with any maintenance issues.
  • Liaising with local council to update tenants responsible for Council Tax.

  • Making weekly marketing and business development communications.
  • Undertaking market and location appraisals as directed and acquiring a sound understanding of the UK rental and serviced apartment market.

  • Experience working in a letting company preferably management.
  • Strong organisational skills and being able to prioritise the daily workload is essential.
  • Accurate keyboard skills for inputting reservations onto our bespoke booking system, raising invoices and replying to e-mails as this will be the main part of the daily routine.
  • Professional, confident and well presented with a professional telephone manner, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to meet and greet guests.
  • Holding a full UK driving license and access to your own car.
  • Fully flexible and prepared to work when needed at the evening and weekends.
  • Ability to negotiate.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Fully proactive and happy to work under minimal supervision.
  • Honesty and trustworthiness is absolutely essential.
  • Any property or hotel industry though this is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Experience at raising invoices such as SAGE software.
  • Experience of working with a company sales website/ portals.
  • A Diploma is required.


  • 40 hours per week over 5 days between 08:30- 19:00.


  • Salary Ranging from GBP20,000 to GBP25,000 depending on experience.
  • Two week trial period and 0 hours contract thereafter until a permanent role is agreed.
