Prince Minerals Limited is part of Prince International Corporation which is a highly successful business with manufacturing operations in the UK, Mainland Europe, Africa, China and Americas. The company specialises in the field of industrial minerals and speciality chemicals. Its value added products are supplied to a wide spectrum of industrial markets including Glass, Foundry, Agriculture, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Construction and Water Treatment.
Due to expansion, our client is seeking an experienced HSE Manager. This exciting new role will report into the Operations Director EMEA; with dotted line responsibility for the Health, Safety and Environmental Managers of the manufacturing sites in the UK, Mainland Europe and Africa.
The sites are ISO14001 and ISO18001 accredited and this will need to be maintained. A key focus of the role will be to bring all sites to similar standards whilst working within the confines of local legislation. Most importantly the role will encourage and engage all employees to put safety first in all that the business does.
To perform in this role you it is essential that you have:
- Experience in driving a culture of behavioural safety throughout a business
- Experience managing multi-sites within different European regions
- An awareness of legislations and frameworks present in Europe
- Previous experience with ISO14001 and OHSAS18001
A background within a processing industry and any additional language skills may also benefit your application.
