A superb opportunity has arisen for a capable and competent HR Supervisor to lead a team of four HR Administrators in a Shared Services environment.

Initially the role will be for 6 months in duration but could be extended.

Main duties:

*Supporting the creation of appropriate SLAs for the SSC
*Support the SSC Manager in establishing a team that is engaged and focused on the aims of the SSC, and manage the team during the changes and challenges associated with a continuously improving shared service environment.
To manage the team to be focused on providing a high quality day to day customer experience and on constantly improving processes
*Ensure data input to the HRIS is high quality through high quality continuous training of the team and appropriate use of audits to guarantee quality
*Manage the team's day-to-day workload and ensure they achieve high quality work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Support in the day to day running of the new Shared Service Centre including continuous development
*Actively manage the workload of the HR Administrators on a day to day basis including workload management and reviewing performance against SLAs
*Ensure all HR administration activities have relevant and up to date standard operating procedures and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
*Ensure all processes are followed to the correct standard
*Complete audits on the team's work to ensure high quality is achieved
*Responsible for training and development of the HR Administrators
*Responsible for implementing any new ResourceLink functionality, processes and SOP's into the SSC and supporting the design/functional specification creation for new modules
*Compile weekly and monthly management information (MI) for relevant management groups, HR business partners and Line Managers, providing analysis where required to assist in driving improvements to HR processes and procedures
*Compile and distribute monthly Flex reports to suppliers and Finance teams, taking action where necessary
*Monitor HR Administration team's absence and performance, taking action where necessary, ensuring weekly reviews are conducted
*Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from team members
*Encourage team members to create process improvements and use the tools in their everyday work

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:
*CPP qualified / working towards CIPD
*Previous experience of working in a busy HR department in an generalist advisory capacity / similar role
*Thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures
*Up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law
*Experience of supporting in disciplinary / grievance hearings up to and including dismissals
*Proven experience of working in a confidential environment
*Strong planning, organising and time management skills - able to balance priorities
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially via email and telephone
*Ability to process information accurately, quickly and logically
*IT literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
*Familiar with using HR databases
*Customer focus - taking accountability for proactively resolving issues
*Unafraid to challenge practice / process and people to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.

Desirable:
*CIPD Qualified
*Systems Implementation experience
*Previous experience of managing a small team
*Understanding of L&D processes and procedures
