Finance and Administration Assistant
First Grade International, a specialised international food importer is seeking a Finance and Administration Assistant for its office based in Bromsgrove.
We are looking to recruit a diligent and hard working individual who is capable of working under pressure and is adaptable to a wide range of tasks. A positive 'can do' approach, a friendly attitude and comfort with numbers is essential for this role.
The successful applicant will be required to post and pass purchase invoices, maintain the haulage charge spreadsheet and help with cash allocation tasks. You will provide general administration support to the department including filing and scanning duties as well as regular routine business tasks including fire alarm testing. You will need to be comfortable using the telephone.
You will also be expected to help with holiday/absence cover for other members of the accounts team within purchase ledger and invoicing and so will be used to working in a team environment.
You will have a high degree of attention to detail, a methodical approach to tasks and strong Microsoft Office & Excel knowledge. Previous experience of an office environment will be useful
