Coventry • GBP25,000 basic plus uncapped commission GBP40,000 plus• Permanent
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

My client

My client is a successful Training Company, who provides a wide range of management training courses and programmes. At their head office in Coventry they have their very own state of the art training centre. They will design and deliver a solution that suits the clients specific needs.

They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Executive who can demonstrate a proven track record in sales.. As part of this clients dedication and committed to their employees, they offer an excellent benefits package.

This role is based in Coventry and requires nationwide travel occasionally to meet with clients

The role of Sales Executive

To be successful in the role of a Sales Executive you will be responsible for selling tailored management training and sales solutions. You will be highly motivated sales person who can win new business and develop more business from their existing client base. You will receive 80-90% of your leads and opportunities each month from marketing, existing of a client base of 4,000 that you can farm additional opportunities.

  • Following up on leads that have made enquiries
  • Calling existing clients to promote products and services
  • Converting prospects to clients
  • Building relationships with new customers
  • Setting up appointments
  • Prospecting, researching and generating leads
  • Promoting new ideas/items to clients
  • Producing proposals for training
  • Diary management
  • Using our CRM system to keep on top of leads and clients
  • Go out on client visits alone and with trainers
  • Proactively sourcing sales leads
  • Contacting new businesses and selling company courses
  • Scheduling calls, update calls to build strong business relationships through to completion of sales
  • Completing relevant confirmation paperwork

As an experienced Sales Executive you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Previous B2B experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to put the customer first at all times
  • Appreciation of the training industry
  • Have a flexible and can do outlook
  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems/databases
