Business Development Executive, North London, up to GBP21k FTE (pro rata for hours worked) plus sliding scale commission, circa 3 days per week (flexible on hours) with further flexibility outside term time.

Our Client
Our client is one of the leading property dressing firms in London. Presentation is a vital element to the marketing of a property and our client helps vendors showcase their properties at their very best. This is particularly the case when it comes to empty and ex-rental properties. Property dressing and styling is the best way to secure the most desirable offers and they are experts in this field.

The Role
They are now seeking a Business Development Executive to spearhead their new business efforts.
They are NOT looking for someone to just 'open doors' for introductory meetings, but want to see tangible results in the form of estate agent recommendations that convert into property dressing jobs.
The role will focus on approaching potential customers (estate agents) with the aim of winning new business through building and maintaining good relationships with them and with existing customers; gaining repeat business wherever possible, presenting the service favourably and in a structured professional way face-to-face and by telephone.

They are looking for an individual who thrives on the challenge of winning new business and is able to come up with innovative ways of building long-term collaborative relationships with estate agents.
Our client is looking for someone who will engage extremely well from first meeting and will leave a lasting impression. You will need to be hard working, with a strong drive for success. Reporting to the Business owners the main duties include:

• Developing Sales Pitch.
• Gather market and customer information.
• Identify potential businesses and key decision makers within those companies.
• Access decision makers and seek to convert them to being clients.
• Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
• Acting as a contact between the company and its potential clients.
• Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries.
• Monitor client satisfaction to improve retention level
• To organise and plan own workload in order to meet all deadlines
• To fit within the existing team and work effectively and professionally at all times
• Excellent presentation skills

The Candidate
The ideal candidate would have a sales background preferably in an estate agency
and would be happy to be fluid with their movement on a daily basis, potentially moving around London to different clients. This role will suit an individual who thrives on the challenge of winning new business and is able to come up with innovative ways of building long-term collaborative relationships with estate agents. They need someone who really believes in what they do and crucially, is able to sell it to estate agents.
He/she will need to be articulate; confident in their ability to communicate by phone or face to face, with the ability to converse with ease with those at a senior level and be ultimately passionate about closing the deal.

It is essential that you are a car driver.

The role is offered on a part time basis, ideally for 3 days a week. However, the company will consider flexibility on this, and will consider some remote working. A salary up to GBP21k FTE pro rata for hours worked is available. The role is based in the company's offices in Muswell Hill.

20 days plus bank holiday (pro rata for hours worked). There may also be the option to take additional unpaid leave during school holidays.
