circa £24,000 to £27,000

Full Time – 37.5 Hours per Week

(Flexible hours available)

Our client is embarking on an ambitious Growth Strategy and is seeking an experienced Trusts and Statutory Fundraiser to lead on managing and growing relationships with existing supporters and identifying and making approaches to new prospects.

Passionate about developing new ideas you will have the ability to create inspiring and persuasive applications with your excellent writing and proof-reading skills. You will work in their small but successful Business Development team, they are a flexible team and there are opportunities to flex your working days and times including some home working.

With your positive outlook and ability you will research and populate a prospect pool of charitable trusts prior to making an approach and to identify new opportunities to maximise income.

Working with internal (and external, where appropriate) colleagues you will create compelling and imaginative proposals for funding and package projects as necessary to match the funder’s criteria. Further to this you will also produce compelling tailored funding applications/cases of support addressing priorities or requirements where necessary to help achieve income budgets.

Solid understanding of fundraising from trusts including awareness of ‘best practice’ and legal requirements is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly convey concepts and inspire others to contribute are also essential. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload, deal with conflicting demands and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with very little direct supervision are all crucial for this role.

Due to the nature of the role a willingness to work flexibly and proactively and respond to the emerging needs of the charity. A driving licence and use of a vehicle is also required.

If you’re hardworking and passionate about developing new ideas, they would love to hear from you!

A DBS check is needed.
