IT Apprenticeship Apprentice – 1st Line Technical Support Apprentice - Kinver

My client is now looking to recruit an IT Apprentice to join their team due to continued expansion and they are a quality IT Services, Telecoms and Cloud computing provider with many years’ experience.

They are looking for someone who has a keen interest in IT who could get to Kinver for work, due to vacancy location, you will need transport to get there. Our client IS WILLING to contribute to travel costs for the right applicant. You will also attend the LMPQ Academy in Worcester on block release during their studies (the rest of the time you will be based with the employer in Kinver).

AFTER TRAINING the successful candidate will work in a team :

·Providing 1st line technical support- talking to staff or clients to help to set up systems or resolve issues.

·monitoring and maintain the computer systems and networks.

·helping to install and configure computer systems.

·diagnose hardware and software faults

·solve technical and applications problems.

Also trouble shooting system and network problems,diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;

·replacing parts as required.

·setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.

Because of their location - the successful candidate would need to have a drivers licence and access to transport.

You don't need to have studied GCSE or BTEC ICT to apply, you might just have I.T. knowledge and want to turn your interest into a career.

This role is currently only open for 16-18 year olds due to it comprising part of a government funded apprenticeship
