A leading retirement builder are looking to recruit a Lean Construction Manager (Construction Support Manager)

The role:
As an experienced Lean Construction Manager your role will be group wide and deliver strategic initiatives and margin improvements, as well as build cycle time reduction and build methodology standardisation across the retirement build business.
You will be involved in benchmark reporting/dashboards as well as evaluation and reporting on new build methods and sharing of best practice.
Your remit will be to engage and lead discussions with the Regional Construction Directors with the aim of driving improvement and efficiency and sharing of information.

On a daily basis you will
Ensure the companies build process is adhered to and updated continually
Be a custodian of Group Construction Reporting with monthly reporting and presentations at quarterly reviews and bi annual production meetings/exec updates.
Evaluate build methodologies on sites and warrantor and insurance requirements for each method
Regular site visits to verify company standards are met according to quality and process compliance
Ad hoc audits on projects focusing on cost,quality and cycle time
Liaise regularly with Regional Construction Directors to ensure policies and procedures are understood and applied
Collate cost,spend and benchmark data from the regions providing analysis and commentary as required

The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either a Lean Construction Manager or Construction Support Management role in a similar change management position for a retirement house building or construction organisation. It is essential to have good academic background or a degree or a relevant LEAN ,6 SIGMA or Continuous Improvement professional qualification.
You will require exceptional power point and excel skills and a good working knowledge of the NHBC or HBF is useful.
