Our client is a leading Manufacturer and supplier to the power generation industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, global company and assist with increasing the company's global presence. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Operations, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following: *Continued development of the company's established market share to the equipment rental industry *Identifying and securing key national and regional accounts in this sector *Establishing contact with key national construction companies to promote the use of Sumner products on their sites *Re-establishing Sumner's presence in the welding distribution industry and securing new business with key distributors in this sector *Establishing contact and promoting Sumner products with key end user clients *Identifying new business opportunities *As the UK business continues to expand, there will be additional career opportunities within the management of the UK operation. Key attributes will include (but not be limited too). *Minimum of 15 years' experience in a sales environment, at least 10 of which in field sales/sales management *A proven track record in key account management *Identify and open routes to market in new sectors *Willingness to take on new challenges outside of their comfort zone *Good mechanical aptitude *Prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland *Full UK Driving Licence, with maximum 3pts *Not disqualified from entering the USA Remuneration package *Competitive salary package *Quarterly sales bonus, up to 30% on top of base salary *Fully-expensed company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop *Company stakeholder pension plan with 5% company / 3% employee contribution *Private healthcare insurance *23 days annual leave, plus statutory days
