Alexander Daniels are working with a company located in Solihull who is looking to expand their finance department and recruit a progressive Assistant Management Accountant. Main Duties: - Database - export data in excel and produce reports to help analyse development activity - Database - reconcile client monies with bank accounts to support property exchanges & completions - Database - update the database with commissions earned by internal sales team and external agents - Accounting - maintain the books and records on SAGE 50 and reconcile accounting information with the CRM database to ensure all transactions are accurate, complete and up to date - Sales ledger - preparing sales invoices, posting sales invoices and cash to SAGE - Purchase ledger - checking purchase invoices carefully, reconciling with and updating database, communicating with demanding suppliers, posting invoices and cash to SAGE - Reconciliations for the bank accounts, VAT, commissions, deposits, property exchanges - Provide the MD and Main Developer with vital business information - Other duties as required Personal Specification: Essential: Experience within an accounting department including purchase, sales and nominal ledger duties An attitude to meeting deadlines, attention to detail and providing accurate information Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, competent user of Microsoft Word and Outlook Flexible and adaptable approach Team player who wants to learn and develop with an expanding organisation AAT Qual or working towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
