Quality Engineer - Birmingham - ISO 13485 A global medical devices company, with a large base in Birmingham, are currently looking for a new quality engineer to join their quality assurance team and help them assure ISO 13485 standards on their biomedical products. You will be working to ISO 13485 standards, so you will need to have worked within the Medical Devices sector previously. Although we are happy for you to have worked on any type of medical device, if you have worked on biomedical medical devices previously this will be highly advantageous. Although we are calling the role a 'Quality Engineer' if you have worked in more of a quality assurance manager type role we would still be happy to consider you. This role has been created due to company growth, meaning future career progression should be possible for you. If you have CAPA knowledge, this will also be highly advantageous, however if you do not have this knowledge training would be provided. We are focusing more on experience than education, however it would be beneficial if you do hold a scientific or biomedical degree. Apart from the training and career progression, you will be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package.
