You must be an inspirational and passionate Science graduate (with a minimum 2:1 classification) who can confront challenges head on. The school wants a graduate Teaching Assistant that has an unwavering focus and determination to become an excellent future science teacher as well as sound subject knowledge in physics. You should be able to display a deep interest in the ways in which we learn and how to get the best from the pupils you work with.
As a Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be supporting general classes within the Science Department, working mainly with students who will be taking their GCSEs this year. You will be working under the instruction of an experienced Teacher who has a hands-on approach to training potential teachers. You will be responsible for making sure that the classroom is properly set up for the lessons and activities ahead. The Science department is a department that has a fun and hard working vibe and atmosphere, really lending itself to being a very popular department within the school.
