Recruitment Co-Ordinator (Fixed Term Contract to Feb 2018) NO AGENCIES

To provide a full Recruitment administrative and co-ordination support service so as to ensure the efficient operation of the department and support the relevant UK Mail departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide first line recruitment advice and guidance to Line Managers on recruitment policies, processes and procedures.
  • To be responsible for publishing the recruitment vacancies and liaising with other Co-ordinators to ensure they have submitted their vacancies.
  • Using the most effective and cost efficient methods for sourcing candidates, using a variety of direct channels as appropriate, eg on-line, referral, networking, events, advertising etc, as well as the company website and applicant tracking and candidate management system.
  • To liaise with candidates in booking interviews/assessments and ensuring databases are up to date
  • Co-ordinating the screening, assessment, interviewing and selection process for all vacancies in conjunction with the Recruiting Managers, and processing all relevant paperwork.
  • To assist with preparation of Open Days, Recruitment Fairs, Assessments etc and attend as required.
  • Completion/review of pre-employment screening and vetting documentation once received by departments and liaising with Recruiting Managers/candidates for outstanding documentation to confirm completed checks.
  • Preparation of offer letters, contracts and amended contracts of employment as required.
  • Prepare MI stats on a weekly basis.
  • Applying for references from current/past employees as required.
  • Ensuring all recruitment administration is accurate and up to date in readiness to pass over to the HR team.
  • Providing administrative support to the Head of HR as required.
  • Any other adhoc duties as required.

Qualifications:

GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English is essential

Minimum CPP qualification (or equivalent) is desirable
