The successful applicant will be a dynamic Physics graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children based on experience gained from a similar role and a long history of academic success that includes a 2:2 or higher in your degree. We want to see graduates with the drive to help their students feel at home in school through their caring approach to pupil development. The school want to meet applicants who have the ability to communicate their own enthusiasm as all good teachers do, when communicating with students. The Headteacher wants to recruit a graduate with an infectiously enthusiastic manner and a responsible character.
In this Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant post you will be moving into the communty-feel Science faculty where you will be supporting and assisting with lessons. Your responsibilities will include discovering the best approach to behavioural management and lesson delivery by paying close attention during your training and continual professional development sessions. As a Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be communicating directly to the School Leadership Team to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for all pupils. You will have the responsibility of learning good teaching practice from a Senior Teacher and supporting children in a group and 1:1 situation . This school takes great pride in the approachable and warm nature of the leadership team. You will assist the teacher by helping plan lessons and ensuring the necessary class resources are available to use in class.
