Monday to Thursday 8:00 am ? 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am ? 12:45 pm

The Role:

We are looking for an experience Financial Controller to be responsible for the efforts and results of the financial department. Reporting to the CFO regarding all financial and accounting activities you will oversee the financial department staff in day-to-day operations.   • Report to the CFO with timely and accurate financial information
  • Oversee all company accounts and investments
  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
  • Develop budget and financial plans based on research and data reports
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly and look for cost reduction opportunities
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions
  • Regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Supervise, manage and motivate all financial department staff by clarifying role and providing coaching and mentoring (accountants and financial assistants)
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems such as payroll and invoicing
  • Ensure that all financial transactions and reporting systems are properly recorded in accordance with financial legislation and regulations by liaising with external auditing services to ensure compliance
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collections and calculations

Essential requirements

  • Degree in accounts, business, economics, finance or a related field
  • At least four years? experience in a business or finance environment
