Our diverse service scope ranges from simple robust concern containment, though product inspection, rework, rectification and verification to complex lean / Six Sigma engineered problem resolution with value added process efficiency and product quality optimisation. We are currently recruiting the role of Shift Auditor to join our existing team on one of our client sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who pride themselves on being established automotive specialists in both rapid response reactive concern management and proactive people and process business development solutions. Role Overview - Assist in the development of audit checks, quality concern investigations and inspector training. - On a scheduled basis that gives priority to the line side projects conduct layered audits on the shift inspection and rework activities. - Through audits under defined guidelines assess the ongoing compliance of the ongoing projects to the defined standards in areas such as, but not limited to, compliance to defined working methodology, accuracy of inspection undertaken, product handling, compliance with H&S regulations including PPE/PPP and inspector data recording discipline. - Working closely with Shift Operations Team ensuring that any audit deviations from the defined standards are immediately recognised, root cause corrective action immediately implemented that ensures no reoccurrence - Summarise and report audit results in a defined format so the Shift and Senior Management can evaluate the days issues/trends for appropriate action - Perform other duties in the quality function as directed by the Quality Manager - Be responsible for the maintenance of files & documents relating to quality audits Skills / Experience / Qualifications - Educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering / Quality Discipline - Minimum 2 years automotive industry experience - Working knowledge of Internal product and process audits to ISO /Â TS 16949 - Good IT Skills / Microsoft Skills - Full Clean Driving Licence - Flexibility to work on other sites in the local area if required - Strong self-assured individual able to withstand the rigor of auditing in a demanding & fast-moving Quality environment - Good attention to detail with a specific focus on error spotting If you feel that you possess the required skill-set and are enthusiastic, dedicated and looking for your next career move into a forward-thinking and dynamic company then we would like to hear from you.
