Here is the nuts and bolts of the role


To develop and implement strategies for selling our products throughout the United Kingdom

Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regionsto deliver a profitable budget.

Keep current with demand and supply of company’s products/services, economic indicators, changing trends and its competitors

To ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through managing service of machines and customer issues as they arise.

Specific Responsibilities:

Ability to build effective relationships, whether internally or externally.

Develop UK sales strategy and implementation.

Efficient Follow up of all enquiries received through our website and other marketing activities.

Prepare formal quotes.

Organize and attend trade shows.

Develop with marketing manager a marketing programme for the UK targeting local opportunities as well as national programmes.

Strategically setup a dealer network to ensure we maximize sales opportunities.

Where appropriate conduct practical product demonstrations.

Achieve UK budget including Grose Profit targets.

Possess leadership skills and the ability to work with a team as well as autonomously.

Technical ability to trouble shoot basic product issues as they arise.

UK overnight travel where required

Travel to Australia for training as well as key strategic meetings. (once per year)

Provide monthly sales reports to management

Service agents

Logistics/warehousing providers

Key Performance Indicators:

Conduct a minimum of 20 customer calls face to face per week.

Conduct a minimum of 5 product demonstrations face to face per week.

Develop 5 key strategic dealers across the UK in first 12 months

Achieve territory budget for dollars

Achieve GP budget

Use effective measures with new product rollouts to market

Training of new staff in the sales team


Comply with OH&S rules, regulations and procedures as listed in Company HRM Policies & Procedures Manual.


Comply with the Company Quality Program.

Provide feedback to head office around product development issues and ideas


Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures as described in Company’s HRM Policies and Procedures Manual.

Self- starter

Excellent communication skills

Sales all-rounder due to diverse range

Goal orientated

Understanding of Small business management as we grow the UK team

Ability to conduct field demonstrations for our products

Has ability to increase capabilities to accept greater challenges

Commercially astute

Numerate and analytical

Team player and motivator
