Our client is a major Business in the Vehicle Contract hire sector, they have embarked on a strategic business growth plan which will see them expanding both their client base and vehicle volumes. In the wake of these plans and to strengthen the operational team we are seeking an exceptional manager to undertake the vital role of Vehicle Procurement.
You will take responsibility for the vehicle procurement function which will include, but not limited to, managing the good relationships with OEM, dealers and associated suppliers. You will create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings. You will ensure vehicle orders are processed and progressed by Purchasing Administrators (PAs) and issues are raised / resolved with suppliers. Work with the sales team and Customer Relationship team to monitor your PA's to ensure procedures, policies and workload is managed effectively, minimising downtime.
Rewards are negotiable but commensurate with the role.
