Job Title: Air Induction PT Project Engineer
Experience: Experience (1 to 2 years) of Air Induction Systems/Plastic Moulding or experience of delivery of component/system from concept to launch.
Location: West Midlands
Rate: From £20.00 to £22.17 per Hour Ltd Co.
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
*The Air Induction System (AIS) Project Engineer is primarily accountable for the delivery of a part or complete Air Induction System (dependant on complexity) from project concept to volume production.
*Liaising with the CAD Team and communicating with interfacing systems to create design solutions that fully integrate with the vehicle whilst delivering the Quality, Cost, Weight, and Function targets defined and agreed during the initial phases of the project.
*Technical direction and support will be given by the Technical Specialist and Subject Matter Expert.
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Experience (1 to 2 years) of Air Induction Systems/Plastic Moulding or experience of delivery of component/system from concept to launch.
2)Project Management experience - must be capable of planning and executing plans to deliver agreed objectives with the ability to communicate effectively status of delivery against plans.
3)Ability to negotiate delivery of workload from CAD Designers both within the team and off shore resource ensuring that key dates are met.
*Experience within a Power Train or PTSE (Power Train Systems Engineering) environment, or experience of Plastic Moulded components or systems.
*Engineering Degree or similar being able to demonstrate 1 to 2 years of delivery experience of Components or System from Concept to Launch.
*40 Hours per week with 3:30pm finish on Fridays
