A Global Manufacturing business based in the West Midlands is recruiting a Business Development Manager to look after their UK and International client relationships. As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities: - Reporting directly in to the Global Vice President of the group, you will sit within the senior management team in West Midlands office - Accountable for managing new and existing client relationships, both nationally and globally Overall management of all strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities - Provide market feedback to group leadership team on market trends, competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas - Creating new business opportunities, through network and knowledge of the national and international market within relevant manufacturing sectors - Heading up expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion with existing clients - Forming a strategic relationship with other business entities within the group to leverage their existing networks - Working with the marketing team to devise materials and tools to support new business goals and enhance existing ones - Work closely with external sales team and ensure they are kept informed of any developments relevant to their account. The ideal Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience: - Business development experience within the industrial manufacturing industry is essential - Management of manufacturing customer relationships on a global scale would be highly advantageous - A track record of identifying opportunities to develop new and existing sales leads - Experience of developing and delivering a marketing and sales strategy within a manufacturing environment - A track record in generating sales opportunities in new business environments - Up to date with market conditions, trends and forecasts within an industrial manufacturing environment - Experience of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally - A proven negotiator with a track record of achieving highly profitable outcomes for his/her business My client is a part of a global manufacturing group, currently going through a very exciting journey of organic and strategic growth.
