The Position:

This is an opportunity to get into a company that develops and supports its people and where there are excellent prospects for advancement. You will become an expert on how data is obtained and be responsible for its accuracy. This will involve carrying out regular accuracy checks on data reports to ensure that all necessary data has been received and that it has been recorded appropriately.

You will communicate regularly with other companies and stakeholders within the sector to ensure a highly efficient service is maintained at all times.

You will work with internal management systems, the finance department and procurement to assist contract management and to ensure that any queries and problems are answered and resolved promptly and efficiently and you will work with team members to continuously develop and improve processes and procedures.

You will produce, manipulate and analyse data and provide reports, whilst developing an understanding of the commercial operations so as to provide advice and the highest standard of customer service to internal departments, particularly procurement and contract management and to external bodies.

The Person:

You will be highly numerate, with solid problem solving skills and ideally have experience of working with and manipulating and analysing data. You will also have customer services experience preferably within a business to business environment. You will have a good standard of education (graduates preferred) excellent communication skills and first class accuracy and attention to detail.

You will be confident and flexible and a person who ‘gets things done’ whilst remaining calm and methodical under pressure. You will need excellent IT skills and a particularly sound knowledge of Excel.

The salary for this permanent role is £18,000 to £19,000 per annum + bonus (up to 10% of salary) + excellent benefits.
