Your new role

This Teaching Assistant job will see you providing support to either KS1 or KS2 pupils within a mainstream environment. This role will require you to assist students with a range of SEN such as autism, emotional behavioural and social difficulties, or moderate learning difficulties. You will be responsible for the delivery of intervention sessions to small groups or on a 1:1 basis. You will also liaise closely with the class teacher to assist in the curriculum delivery and report on/ monitor pupil progress.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this position you will have a Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or an equivalent qualification. You will have a minimum of 40 days experience working in a school within the last two years which can be referenced. You should have experience working with children or young people with SEN. Candidates with experience in 'care' will also be considered. You will be passionate about helping young people achieve the best of their potential and have outstanding ethical and moral values.
