We are looking for an experienced individual to lead the team responsible for shaping the leadership and personal development agenda in Muller demonstrating ongoing returns on investment. The role holder will partner with external providers, manage the budget and diagnose business needs. You will also be responsible for shaping a world class development offer that makes Muller an attractive employer and ensure LMS is fully utilised to ensure easy access learning solutions for all. In this role the key responsibilities will include: * To become a known partner to the business working closely to agree on solutions for each area. * To liaise with senior leaders to ensure that the L&D offer is up to date and fit for purpose and to partner senior leaders across the business to diagnose capability gaps. * To continually keep abreast of and be part of development solutions globally. * To agree best approach - and provider - to support each offer of personal/leadership development using 70:20:10. * To work with the leaders and identified support within the function to ensure sustainability of capability solutions and leverage opportunities for cross-functional capability offer. * To own Talent Reviews and Succession Plan infrastructure and work with HRBPs to identify future talent with development opportunities and robust succession plans across the business. * To integrate Muller's Global Core Competencies to all Talent Development offers. * To offer new ideas, creative solutions for the business to drive business performance. * To collaborate and partner with HR Business Partners/Managers/Advisors to ensure they have the relevant skill to support deployment of learning interventions. * To create an internal coaching network with relevant qualification skill level. * To develop a network of external partners for Muller UK & Ireland to provide the best learning and training for the business both now and for the future and to liaise regularly with key contacts from this network to ensure development is accessible and fit for purpose. * To ensure external providers can support all training/learning solutions aligned to Muller's Global Core Competencies. * Create a network of external coaches to work with the business - ensure each partnership is fit for purpose. * To lead the leadership and personal development throughout Muller UK & Ireland. * To be part of the leadership team in Talent Development to shape the Talent Development agenda. * To be able to deputise for the Talent Development Practice Lead as necessary. * To adhere to the Muller Global Core Competency framework from both a personal and development perspective in own conduct and in creating learning solutions. * To work with our Group colleagues creating opportunities to synergise learning solutions; scoping/diagnosing/design/delivery and evaluation across the business to have one leadership offer. * To adapt to change based on business (re) focus and to be able to transfer thinking into action by self and through others. * To use the LMS to provide learning solutions across the business - ensuring it is serving the needs of colleagues; create a process in place to ensure waiting lists are maintained, access is easy and straightforward usage of the system. Work closely with Talent Development Digital colleagues to ensure the content is up to date and maintained. * To execute different methods of applying and sustaining learning in the business. * To balance the offer of face to face with on-line support (70:20:10) providing the best solutions based on needs. * To shape the offer and present it to look 'world class' so it is easy to access and becomes key to business success. * To create and maintain a robust evaluation infrastructure for our learning solutions that is sustainable; to continually evaluate how 'fit for purpose' training programmes/learning solutions are both internally and externally. * To ensure the business owns the evaluation and 'worth' of the development solution and that Talent Development have a robust infrastructure to support this. * To agree funding arrangements with both external and internal stakeholders. * To work with Digital Learning to ensure best value for money is aligned to best learning with a just in time mind-set for continuous development. * To work with Talent Development (Functional) Manager to accredit learning programmes, drawing from the Levy where possible. Key skills & experience. * CIPD qualification is essential. * Masters HR qualification is desirable. * TAP Design qualification is desirable. * Extensive partner experience - both with senior internal colleagues and a wide network of external learning resource. * Up to date knowledge of 'latest' developments in learning from a personal and leadership development perspective. * Previous experience of leading an internal team and of managing a network of learning providers ensuring good value for money. * Demonstrating a clear vision - making it clear to stakeholders and engaging both senior leaders and external senior providers in it to execution. * Take Complex and make it easy to access and to understand - pragmatic with technical mastery. * Completer finisher - able to execute strongly on delivery; both quality and volume. * Able to work in and lead a team with enthusiasm. * Good communicator and presenter. * Hold others to account - ensure responsibilities are clear as are timelines. * Seeing things through the user/learner's eyes and execute learning in a timely and tailored way. * Attention to detail, conscientious and disciplined. * Uses initiative. * Good with systems application.
