Role: EMS Applications Systems Engineer (Gasoline) Location: Coventry Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on proven ability) + car / car allowance + bonus + bens Global product leader supplying the highest quality automotive components and systems for all the major global car manufacturers and the aftermarket is seeking an EMS Application Systems Engineer (Gasoline) to support continued expansion. This role would suit a proven engineer or engineer with circa two years proven ability looking to focus a career in this area. At the Coventry site, my client has specialist teams focusing on powertrain, infotainment and safety systems, thermal systems and rotating machines for a variety of automotive and off-highway manufacturers. The of role EMS Application Systems Engineer will be to support the development of software on EU Applications, including the calibration and validation of related items. Ideally my client is looking for an engineer who has a good understanding of gasoline powertrain applications. Exposure to powertrain calibration, software requirement development and Matlab & Simulink. Main tasks will include: * Capture the customer's systems requirements for EMS Application Software and create Functional Requirements Documents * Performance Software Debug to make sure software meets customer requirements * Calibrate the functionality of the responsible items * Investigate issues * Complete necessary testing and validation
