to work for a Major Automotive Organisation based in Warwickshire

Job Title: Tyre Development Engineer

Experience: Proficient in the component releasing process, with a good understanding of the project management and creating timing plans.

Location: Warwickshire

Rate: From £23.00 to £25.04 per Hour Ltd Co.

Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

The Role:

*This role is for a Tyre Development Engineer in the Chassis Wheels & Tyres team to support the delivery of the tyre to programs.

*A high level of project management of suppliers will be required, managing development through to production release of a signed off tyre.

*An understanding of tyre design & development is important, however a candidate with good knowledge of the company processes and experience in a similar tuneable component would be suitable for the role

Skills Required:


1)Proficient in the component releasing process, with a good understanding of the project management and creating timing plans.

2)Lead the day to day issues resolution with engineers and vehicle attribute teams to develop designs that meet targets

3)Good MS-Office skills

Experience Required:

*Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent experience

*Tyre industry knowledge /experience of a tyre manufacturer or tyre development at an OEM Ability to deliver with minimum supervision

Experience Preferred:

*Understanding of processes, WERS, APQP, DFMEA, RMDV, PSW

*A good working knowledge of product creation and delivery, change control, product definition and change management processes

Additional Information:

*40 Hours per week with 3:30pm finish on Fridays
