IT Service Desk / 1st Line Support

A very successful software company based in Coventry requires a contract IT support / helpdesk analyst to join and busy service desk team, providing support to thousands of users across multiple customer locations across the UK and Internationally. Progression offered for ambitious candidates.

Location: Coventry

Duration: 3 months

Rate - Up to GBP160 / day

Skills - Desirable (but not essential)

·Strong Customer service
·Strong Triage experience / ticket management experience
·Problem solving skills
·AD. Microsoft Exchange, Windows 7 / 8
·Bespoke application support experience

The Role

An IT Service Desk Analyst / 1st Line Support Analyst is needed for one of the UKs leading software organisations. Working from their Head Quarters in Coventry, you will join a team of 7 Support Analysts who currently deal with all Support calls from hundreds of customers and thousands of users across the UK and Internationally. You will be responsible for taking calls and emails from users who are experiencing issues with their software. You will triage the tickets, prioritising more urgent customer issues, and making sure they are assigned to the right person. You will use problem solving skills to resolve user issues yourself. This person is needed due to the current team being too busy and requiring extra help to get through the ticket queue.
