Core Assets - the childrens service group are looking to recruit a HR and Risk Coordinator to join their HR team in Bromsgrove. This is busy and demanding role where you will be required to administrate the HR policies and procedures and provide support to the Group Risk & Compliance Manager in respect of health and safety and risk. You will also write blogs and other HR communications to the business.


  • Maintain Policies and Procedures ensuring that it reflects the state of our document library.

  • Maintain an overview of safety coordinator returns.

  • Complete audits on the electronic health and safety files

  • Produce monthly KPI's for presentation at the Sub-Committee (Risk and Compliance) in respect of the health and safety electronic file audits

  • Through the use of blogs and publicity, raise the profile of HR P&P's and topical issues to the Group in conjunction with the Comms team.

  • Maintain HR sections of Core Assets intranet site to ensure the content remains relevant, up to date and appropriate for each company/ jurisdiction

  • Ensure any HR related information contained on company websites is accurate and up to date.


  • Previous office experience of working in a busy HR department

  • A good standard of education (e.g. 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English

  • To be able to evidence an understanding of the use of IT and electronic communications including the use of Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint and Outlook email

  • A good working knowledge of effective administrative systems and processes

  • Working knowledge of implementing health and safety in an office environment

  • Experience of writing internal communications

This is a full time, permanent position with a salary up to GBP21,000 per annum + benefits.
