The Manual Data Entry Centres (MDECs) are an integral part of Royal Mail's automated mail processing systems. They provide support to the automated mail sorting systems by manually keying in information such as the address or postcode which systems are unable to 'read'. MDECs are located in Plymouth, Stoke and Doxford (Sunderland).
We are seeking a high volume of candidates for data entry/keyer roles with Royal Mail this Christmas:
1. Roles will start at the end of November 2017 and run for up to 5 weeks
2. Candidates MUST be available for the duration of the booking and will only be considered after completing the induction training in late November 2016
SHIFT PATTERNS & PAY RATES
E1: 07:00 - 13:00, Mon - Sat (Weekdays GBP7.80/hr, Weekends GBP9.05/hr)
E2: 07:00 - 13:00, Tue - Sun (Weekdays GBP7.80/hr, Weekends GBP9.05/hr)
L1: 15:30 - 21:30, Mon - Sat (Weekdays GBP7.80/hr, Weekends GBP9.05/hr)
L2: 18:00 - 22:00, Mon - Fri (Weekdays GBP7.80/hr)
L3: 15:30 - 21:30, Sat & Sun (Weekends GBP9.05/hr)
N1: 23:00 - 05:00, Mon - Fri (Weekdays GBP8.71/hr)
N2: 23:00 - 05:00, Sat & Sun (Weekends GBP10.51/hr)
Note that all shifts are subject to slight alteration at the client's request.
We are open to flexibility regarding shifts, subject to client requirements.
1. Competitive pay rates starting from GBP7.80/hour and vary according to the shift (up to GBP10.51 for weekend Night shifts).

Candidates MUST be available for the duration of the booking and will only be considered after completing the induction training in late November 2017.
Due to the high volume of roles we are filling, a series of recruitment events will be run by Angard Staffing throughout September, October and November 2017 at Royal Mail.
The closing date for this vacancy is Friday 17th November 2017. We are actively seeking early applications from August 2017 onwards and will be offering booking contracts from September so that candidates are assured that they have the booking confirmed.
