I am current working with a Top 100 Law Firm who are currently looking to recruit a Senior Solicitor or Associate to their Public Law/Health Advisory Team. The role would ideally be based in the Birmingham office but the client is open to allowing the perfect candidate to choose between Birmingham and Leeds.

The role will involve working as part of the wider Clinical Law department and will see the successful candidate working closely with the NHS, Department of Health and other healthcare bodies in both the public, private and charitable sectors.

The firm are looking for a qualified solicitor with 5(+) years PQE and broad experience dealing with defendant clinical negligence matters and advisory work. You will undertake a wide range of issues for the firm's health and social care clients to include: best interest and medical treatment matters, consent and confidentiality, mental health and deprivation of liberty law, inquests and public law to name a few.

The ideal candidate will have gained this experience in a leading national healthcare law practice.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the ability to actively develop client relationships and to deliver high quality and clear advice. You will also be comfortable with supervising more junior solicitors across the national team.
