We are currently Seeking a Group Project Manager for a leading Finance and Wealth Management firm based in South Birmingham.

Drive and oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects within the group set by the CEO to achieve specified deliverables.

Responsibilities:
Define the scope of the project/s in collaboration with senior management
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project/s
Determine in conjunction with the CEO the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
Develop a schedule for project completion in conjunction with the CEO that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
Collaborate with the CEO to determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
Monitor and report on the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organisation on the progress of the project
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team (if appropriate) on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Provide the necessary controls to deliver the project schedule
Write reports on the project for Board review/updates
Monitor and approve in conjunction with the CEO all budgeted project expenditure
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
Evaluate who, in conjunction with the CEO, is best placed to pass on the next stage of any project if not the GPM and allocate accordingly

Key Management Responsibilities

To contribute as a key member of the Executive Board Committee and the management team to the Groups overall strategy.
To contribute to all strategic and operational meetings (if required), providing relevant management information.
