About the Opportunity Having gone through significant growth in the UK in the last twelve months, the company is now looking to add even more talented people to its passionate and energetic sales team.

As a Sales Manager, your role will include forging strong, long-lasting client relationships,plus providing ongoing account management and sales support, to institutional customers in the UK. You’ll be responsible for driving new sales and opportunities, as well as ensuring the growth of your existing accounts.

You will be responsible for selling both digital solution services and also the UK’s most exciting range of bestselling physical and digital audiobooks from the world’s best authors such as Paula Hawkins, James Patterson, Jacqueline Wilson and Lee Child. Although the position is home-based, we believe that face-to-face meetings foster the best relationships, therefore significant travelling within the UK is required.

Core Competencies:

  • As a target driven business, demonstrable experience in delivering significant results within a sales environment is a must

  • Experience selling to institutions in a competitive and resistant market against established vendors will be an advantage

  • Excel at finding and closing new opportunities, building relationships and growing existing accounts

  • Exceptionally strong closing as well as consultative selling skills

  • Goal orientated, motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willing to travel 4 days out of 5 or as the needs of the business require ( mainly covering the North)

  • Passionate about audiobooks and about libraries in the UK

£30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus and company car/allowance
