Office Administrator – Maternity Cover
Worcester
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (30-minute lunch)
£11.00 per hour

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their team on a 6 to 12-month contract to cover a maternity.

Day to day duties

  • Typing and sending orders to suppliers
  • Updating and maintaining delivery board
  • Booking B&B’s for operatives
  • Maintaining supplier information on Sage
  • Hiring and off hiring plant & machinery
  • Stationery & clothing orders
  • Answering telephone, transferring calls and taking messages
  • Answering door and welcoming guests
  • Plot work remedial admin
  • Filling in the company accident book
  • Opening & distributing incoming post
  • Franking & posting outgoing post
  • Transferring documents between warehouse and office
  • Job number filing
  • General admin filing
  • Issuing clothing, PPE, fuel cards and keys to operatives
  • Providing holiday cover
  • Purchasing kitchen consumables
  • Server backup
  • General office admin

Person specifications

  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • IT Literate
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to plan ahead
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
