Craftsperson Fitting - Primary / Grid Substations
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Craftsperson to work within their fitting team on primary/ grid substations. You will be required to work in the Stoke or Telford area for a National Utilities company. As a Craftsperson you will carry out maintenance and project work on switchgear and plant at 132kV, 66kV and 33kV substations.
If not already atained, the successful candidate will be required to study for the relevant City & Guilds qualification and complete TAR - which includes daily diary page completion, and a number of tasks and reports as required
This is a 37 hour a week position, with possible overtime requirments. You must be able to work on your own or as part of a small team, making on the spot decisions as required and working to tight deadlines. You must also possess a full driving licence and live within a 30 minute radius of the Stoke or Telford depot
