They are currently recruiting for a Group Facilities Manager

The role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join the Group whose key remit will be to organise, carry out and implement total maintenance and upkeep of the building fabric of the group properties. This will include ensuring the maintenance of the Group property services, gas, water, electricity and drainage, building contents, equipment, car parks and grounds by carrying out routine planned maintenance of the properties ensuring minimum risk of breakdown. You will also take responsibility for planning large refurbishment and small improvement projects ensuring timely completion in accordance with business levels.

Whilst this is a senior position in the Group which reports into the CEO, you will be expected to be hands-on and involved in supporting the wider maintenance team in carrying out duties to ensure completion of tasks on time.

This is a full-time, permanent position with some out of hours and weekend working to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.

The candidate

With previous managerial experience at a senior level, the ideal candidate will come from the hotel, leisure or hospitality sector, though this is not essential. They are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of mechanical/ electrical plant and associated controls including air conditioning and pool plant operations. Excellent communication skills with experience of managing a team across multi-sites, the successful candidate will have experience of managing budgets with the ability to plan and prioritise maintenance work across multi-sites. You will also possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word and excel.

They are offering a basic salary of around GBP50-55k for this position, depending on experience with numerous other incentives and benefits
