Salary - GBP20-GBP22k + GBP10k OTE

Location - Birmingham

Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with business area leads, the successful candidates will be passionate about business success, and in particular creating the environment in which we are able to sell and grow. This is an opportunity to bring your character and natural influencing skills to bear in convincing potential clients of our value and place in their organisations. Our Business Development Executives need to be tireless and dedicated to forming and maintaining long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients. The successful candidates will be assiduous in their approach, yet subtle and convincing in ensuring our messages are delivered effectively. We operate a team with genuine opportunities to progress for the most capable BDEs, and a proven track-record of training, developing and retaining excellent talent.

It is critical that Aristi continues to thrive and grow, and as we approach new markets, there is a key role for our Business Development team to play in establishing, maintaining and cultivating relationships and maximising our market presence.

A small selection of the specific activities you are likely to be involved in is provided below:

  • Identifying target customers and actively researching new and existing markets.
  • Making both warm and cold calls to qualify and set up appointments for the Security Consultants
  • Attending meeting with your senior Security Consultants
  • Chasing and closing customers for orders and follow-up appointments
  • Providing office-based support, for example assisting with proposal development and quotations, and supporting forecasting activities
  • Leading and supporting various marketing activities in collaboration with our marketing team
  • Taking a genuinely collaborative approach, right across our business, while remaining able and motivated to work independently as required.
  • Join in with creating marketing campaigns to help with the entire team

This is role requiring resilience, a naturally influential style and tenacity - and the ability to work to challenging sales targets. The focus is primarily on the Business Development elements of the role, which are vital to the company's growth, but the ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to 'pitch in' where required. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be educated to degree-level - Graduating within the last 4 years.
  • Demonstrate their self-starting nature, and motivation to drive growth through relationships and to have a real impact in a small team.
  • Money motivated and a passion for sales
  • Hard working and able to take knock-backs

Graduate Fasttrack will be running the Aristi Assessment day on 19th October, starting at 9am. You will receive job offers by the end of the day and will be given lunch.
